Project Satellite Warp was born following my newly developed passion for capturing Earth's natural satellite, the Moon, following its own phases and the way it keeps Earth's axis rotation and tides regulated. The Moon also has a very important influence on the natural balance of time and light.
The warp effect, created by a selection of a single line of pixels from the Moon image capture (pixel stretching technique), so it follows the same patterns and shades of the captured images of the Moon, are a symbol of the fast but perfectly balanced Moon's Orbit around Earth and also a symbol of the benefits and influence the Moon has on Life on Earth.
Each image was inspired, imagined and crafted with many of the scientific and mythical symbolisms of the Moon in mind. I leave my own interpretation of each image with their own title.
It is also one of the objectives of Project Satellite Warp, to leave each image open to individual interpretation and wonder around the mysteries of the Moon!
